Short Film Festival in India- Rajasthan Film Festival


Rajasthan is remembered for its architectural and cultural heritage with regions which are standing up the levels and being known for its unique style. The arts, dance forms, music styles, songs & have been a center of attraction to people from different part of the world and have survived for many years. Rajasthani cinema is working for many years to maintain and keep the Rajasthan’s culture ongoing and thus it has also seen many eras where the films are known for their work. But now since the generation and peoples view has changed and thus, it has adversely effected Rajasthani culture and the cinema of Rajasthani culture has itself declined awareness and the and now Rajasthan’s cinema is struggling hard to get it all done and bring back the pride of this culture. Keeping these points in mind, Kanchan Cassettes & Series took an initial task in their hand and established Rajasthan Film Festival on the 28 September 2013, it is a Short Film Festival in India, this big initiative which was done to bring back the respect of Rajasthani cinema amongst people moreover, promoting art and culture of Rajasthan. The founder of RFF is Sanjana Sharma a very well known personality of Rajasthani film industry. With her thought process and dedication, this film festival came alive.

Rajasthan Film Festival involves programs like award show to honor and encourage the artistic and technical excellence of artists who are working for Rajasthani cinema, this provides them recognition amongst people and a platform where the artists can showcase their talent. Other sources of attraction in this film festival are dance performances, plays, live performances by singers, stand up comedians and poets. Rajasthan Film Festival every year is organized at different and beautiful locations and the celebrities in the field of Bollywood industry from all over India come to attend this dynamic event.
